How to find Sysomphone

Sysomphone Guest House
Ban Visoun 22/4
Luang Prabang, Laos
+856-71-252543

Welcome to the Sysomphone Guest House in Luang Prabang

Sysomphone was one of the first guest houses in this area of Luang Prabang (+856-71-252543).

The owners, Mama Sy and Papa Somphone, are friendly hosts, and their manner is typical of the Lao style of hospitality, offering free water and bananas, and sharing their food with you at every possible opportunity.

Sysomphone is one of the older style guest houses. What makes Sysomphone special is the traditional family atmosphere, children and animals, down a quiet lane, very close to the Nam Kham river.
The wooden rooms in the original home are simple, but comfortable. They are equipped with a fan. The rooms in the new house are with bathroom, TV and aircon.

There is a menu where you can order great food, cooked by the family for you.
Bicycles can be rented at the Sysomphone for just over a dollar a day (10,000 kip). The proceeds are donated to the Santiphab school library for purchasing books for the students.
With over ten years experience Papa Somphone can have arranged any travel requirements or information you may need, so that you will have a memorable and hassle free experience in Luang Prabang.
